in the process of pig breeding, mixed infection of multiple pathogens is common, but this kind of mixed infection also leads to misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis of traditional clinical diagnosis, and then delay diagnosis and treatment, resulting in economic losses. At the beginning of August 2020, a pig farm in Menglian County suffered from sporadic diseases. The main clinical manifestations were fever, cough and asthma, piling, messy and lusterless coat, local skin cyanosis, emaciation, decreased appetite, slow growth, and individual pigs with constipation and diarrhea alternately. Pathological autopsy showed renal punctate hemorrhage, splenic marginal infarction, enlargement or hemorrhage of thoracic and abdominal lymph nodes, mesenteric lymph nodes, mandibular lymph nodes and inguinal lymph nodes, pneumonia with local liver degeneration, ileocecal valve or local jejunal ileal mucosa with mucosal shedding, hemorrhage, necrosis or ulcer. The results of laboratory diagnosis showed that the disease was caused by the mixed infection of CSFV and PCV2. After the enhanced immunization with CSFV and PCV2, the secondary infection was controlled and symptomatic treatment was given, all the pigs recovered to health. |
