| Due to the influence of African swine feverand other factors, the pork production capacity in 2019 has declined significantly as well as the pig stock and sows stock have declined for 10 consecutive months, so the supply of pork has decreased and the import volume has increased sharply; the consumption of pork has decreased, and the consumption of white striped chicken, eggs and other substitutes has increased; as a result the prices of pig, pork and piglets have increased significantly, and the pressure of stable price and supply of pork is great. In 2020, the production capacity of pigs will gradually recover. With the expansion of pork import and the introduction of reserve meat, the supply and marketing of pork will be stable. |
